SILENCE IS COMPLICITY IN THE INHUMANE CRIMES OF THE OPPRESSORS!

Due to the deplorable conditions in the prison and lack of the Shia Islamic State’s accountability, and at the same time, protesting against the murder of Baktash Abtin, the Covid-19 stricken poet and filmmaker in the prison, six political prisoners have begun a thorough hunger strike (without water and food) at the notorious Evin Prison (Ward Eight) located in North Tehran, since yesterday, January 12, 2022:
