On the 12th of February, we held a solidarity action in support of the feminist revolution in geographical Iran and Kurdistan. With Tea, Coffee, and homemade vegan baked goods, we tried to raise as much money as possible to give to The Federation of Anarchism Era, which they use to fund the activities of various anarchist groups within the geography of Iran, the treatment of anarchist comrades injured during the activity, financial aid to the families affected by the uprising, and other hidden but necessary activities which we can’t disclose for security reasons. We would like the artists that came to play at this event, Maudit Dragon, Mamba Bites, and Pistache Bitume. Thanks a lot to F. for coming all the way to Biel to do her amazing and eye-opening presentation about the situation in Iran and Kurdistan and for interesting discussions afterward. Thanks to all the bakers and people that helped with cooking, cleaning, doing bar shifts, and screenprinting. And a big thanks to everyone who came to drink tea and eat lots of cake and donated so generously. Who knew that the love for cake and social justice were so close?
Finally, I wish nothing but pain and misery to the oppressors, the dictators, the puppets of evil regimes, and the people that legitimize their position of power. To people who keep justifying violence towards women, trans people, and homosexuals as a cultural thing. To the people who segregate and isolate us based on race, gender, sexual preference, and social class. No one is free until we are all free!
