The latest statement by Soheil Arabi’s defense lawyer, 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐣𝐨𝐮, appointed by the Shia Islamic judiciary in Tehran, Iran:
“Mr. Soheil Arabi’s client did not appear in court. I hope that in a decision in accordance with the principles and standards of criminal law, Soheil will be acquitted because Soheil’s writings and statements, including criticism, mentioning of shortcomings, and insistence on following legal proceedings, can not be considered as propaganda against the system and spreading lies.”
