According to reports in social media today, November 9, 2022, the Iranian people’s revolutionary protests have continued in most cities (workplaces, the university, etc.), especially in commemoration of the 40th day of the assassination of “Khoda-Nour Lajei” in the city of Zahedan in Sistan and Baluchistan province, in southeastern Iran.
Khoda-Nour Lajaei, born on October 2, 1995, during the bloody massacre of the people of Zahedan on October 1, 2022, was shot in the back and legs by the security forces of the ruling fascist Shia Islamic State in Iran. He was transferred to a hospital, but the care unit there refused to admit him for treatment. And due to severe injuries, he lost his life a day later October 2,2022, like more than a hundred other young people’s intentionally murder, up to that date in Baluchistan.
About two months before his murder, Khoda-Nour had been arrested and inside the prison camp he was handcuffed to a flagpole. It is said that when he asks the torturers for a drink of water, they place a glass of water in front of him with a distance and say: “Drink”!!!
Sistan and Baluchistan is considered one of the most deprived regions in the country due to exploitation, astronomical theft and looting of various natural resources, both under the Pahlavi kings and under the dictatorial rule of Khomeini-Khamenei. The people of this region, like other ethnic groups, have always been discriminated against and oppressed by violence, but despite all this, they have continued to fight for their rights.
